Pupil Collection Policy

As a school, we are responsible for the welfare of our pupils and therefore have to consider what we believe is good practice in ensuring the safety of our pupils. We also have an obligation to alert relevant authorities should we believe a child’s welfare is at risk.

In setting our protocol for collecting children we have taken advice and guidance which states that it is for each school to decide and enforce its own pupil collection policy. Standish Lower Ground St Anne’s Policy is that parent/carers formalise collection arrangements in writing with school. To be clear, the school is not responsible for a child’s safety on his or her way home.

WOW! What a fantastic morning/afternoon we have had in school today raising money for Macmillan via our Macmillan coffee morning! Our pupil leadership team supported the staff on the day and helped Mr Ivory bake some caked earlier in the week! Then our wonderful children sang some brilliant ones to a packed out hall.Huge thanks to all the parents/carers who donated cakes and their time to make today such a special day. We have raised over £200 so far (that’s just from the morning!) and will confirm the total amount in due course! 💚 ... See MoreSee Less
