General Data Protection Regulation
The new regulations are titled the General Data Protection Regulation and these came into force in the UK on the 25th May 2018. This entirely replaced the Data Protection Act which previously governed how we handled data.
We all handle personal data regularly but may take for granted what steps we need to put in place to protect it. We have recently appointed a Data Protection Officer who is from a company called Judicium. They will be assisting us with meeting compliance and helping train all the staff on GDPR.
