Pupil Premium Strategy Statement

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

In 2018-19 primary schools received £1,320 to help support each child eligible for free school meals ( or eligible for free school meals at any time in the last 6 years).

Primary schools also receive £2,300 for any pupils who are or have been in care. (Some of this funding may be used by the virtual schools team.)
